In February, I Choose to Win held its first half-day board retreat at Fitler Club in Philadelphia, PA to discuss the 2024 strategic plan, lineup of programs, fundraising initiatives and annual gala. This multi-hour session allowed the board members to know one another better and put on their thinking caps as a collective when considering the trajectory of the nonprofit organization.
Board members present included Cynthia Burrows, Phil Butler, Sharon Manker, Candy Manning, Felicia Williams. Also in attendance were Melonie Butler, Executive Director and Tiffany Burrows, Volunteer. Not in attendance was Board Chair Kamella Emmanuel.
