I Choose To Win partnered with Make the Distinction, a Philly-based 501c(3) nonprofit organization led by Alexandria Ingram to present the 2023 Winning Workshop: Getting to Know Me, Intimately event held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Our House Culture Center in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. The 4-hour transformative pop-up workshop drew students aged 13-18 years old, from middle and high schools, out of their beds and into our session to explore their thoughts, actions, habits, mindsets, and choices with true focus and intention as they evolve into young women with aspirational goals. The journey of self-exploration and personal growth was led by the dynamic facilitator, Melonie Butler, to guide attendees toward a deeper understanding of themselves, fostering self-love and acceptance for enhanced self-knowledge and awareness.
The event left a lasting impact, encouraging participants to view themselves with newfound clarity and to approach life with a stronger sense of identity. Melonie Butler’s unparalleled energy infused the workshop with positivity, creating an uplifting atmosphere that resonated with all who attended. As the workshop concluded, the organizers expressed gratitude to the participants, emphasizing the importance of self-love and self-grace in recognizing the unique qualities each individual brings to the world.
