The Union County Alumnaei Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated held its 2nd annual I’m Every Woman Conference held March 2, 2024, at South Piedmont Community College in Monroe, NC and brought Melonie Butler back as a speaker. With the topic of Activating the Power of Choice, Melonie facilitated two workshops and served as a panelist for more than 150 women in attendance.
During her sessions, Butler provided a high-level overview and understanding of ways the choices we make today shape the lives we lead tomorrow, with the caveat that it’s always within our power to choose differently the moment we decide we want different outcomes. Participants were provided a choice-point action plan to activate intentional decision-making in three focus areas of their lives: Mind, Body and Spirit.
