Food-Science Students Explore Self-Discovery with I Choose To Win

The George Washington Carver Food Research Institute (GWCFRI) launched its inaugural Ag STEAM Summer Camp, offering students of color a unique experience to learn the careers in food sciences through a 2-week summer program. GWCFRI Founder, Angela Cauley, brought I Choose T Win to develop the Self-Discovery component to help students identify the career opportunities in food sciences that best aligned with who students believed themselves to be in alignment with their strengths, gifts and talents, and areas of interest or passion.  It was an engaging and enlightening experience for students and facilitators in the room. The program is designed to expose students to the various roles and career paths  in the $1Trillion food industry, employing 1.5M people, so they could understand the possibilities if they find it of interest to pursue in their future.
