Melonie Butler Completes Black Nonprofit Chief Executives of Philadelphia Academy

Melonie Butler, founder and executive director of I Choose to Win, has completed the Black Nonprofit Chief Executives of Philadelphia (BNCEP) Academy. This accomplishment marks an important step in Melonie’s ongoing commitment to strengthening her leadership skills, expanding the I Choose to Win network, and furthering her impact in the nonprofit sector.

BNCEP is a collective of Black nonprofit leaders in Philadelphia, dedicated to enriching leadership, enhancing resources, and amplifying the capacity to support communities throughout the region. The BNCEP Academy is designed to equip its members with skill development, leadership enhancement, and nurturing community and culture.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the BNCEP Catalyst Program,” said Melonie. “This experience has not only strengthened my leadership skills but also connected me with a powerful network of local nonprofit leaders who share a vision for a more thriving, equitable Philadelphia.”

As Melonie moves forward, she is poised to leverage the resources, strategies, and relationships gained through the BNCEP Academy to create lasting change for the BIPOC women and girls that I Choose to Win serves.
