I Choose To Win is excited to announce that Founder and Executive Director Melonie Butler was selected among the 200 leaders in Philadelphia to attend this year’s Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange (GPLEX), hosted by the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia in New Orleans September 30 – October 3, 2023.
GPLEX 2023 will take place in New Orleans, renowned for its rich history, arts, culture, and delectable southern cuisine. As I Choose To Win endeavors to develop leaders and economic independence for BIPOC women and girls in the Philadelphia region, she will represent their voices as our leaders convene to discuss innovative and bold actions we can take to positively impact this population in our city.
Programs like GPLEX provide participants with the necessary tools, knowledge, and experiences to become effective leaders in their communities. GPLEX also offers networking opportunities to connect with local foundations, universities, renowned restaurants, and small business leaders who are making a significant impact in their respective fields.
