I Choose to Win held its inaugural Bold, Brave and Brilliant Awards Gala in October 2022 to honor a distinct lineup of women who are winning in their journey to walk in their purpose, pursue their passions and realize their potential. The 1920s Flapper themed affair was held at Mahoney Event Center in Ambler, PA. Outfitted with stanchions and red carpet, guests were greeted by volunteers and assigned specific paddles for the evening activities.
The nonprofit welcomed over a hundred guests who came to celebrate the milestone affair and the impact the organization has had on the individuals it serves and the local community over the past seven years, while also honoring the featured honorary guests in attendance receiving the Game Changer, Difference Maker and Passionate Leader awards. In-Person recipients included Dawn Bizzell, Co-Founder of Legal Kid Foundation; Dr. Natasha Patterson, CEO, On the Journey to Better; Kamella Emmanuel, CEO of Keep Evolving Consulting; Rachael Hanible, CEO of Missing Peace Financial Group; Kyshon Johnson, CEO, The Other Half Series; Syreeta Martin of Sincerely Chosen; Rep. The event boasted live music, fireside chat, open bar, catered meal, raffle give-a-ways, silent auction featuring vacations of a lifetime and an awards presentation.
